hybrid solar roof

This solar roof was originally developed as a solar generator for Audi, Mercedes, Seat and VW, and integrated in the design of the car's roofs in order to reduce fuel consumption and to provide energy even when the engine was switched off. The integrated solar roof also used to extend the range of the Mercedes BlueZERO electric car.

What I found interesting was the application of this integrated design approach to the manufacturer's architectural product range. The "Energy Roof" combines electricity and heat generation using 1m2 energy units apparently seamlessly incorporated into the roof design.

The design addresses the problem of overheated panels by capturing the excess heat and using it as a source of energy for hot water and space heating.

The house and domestic hot water can therefore be heated using a byproduct of the generation of solar energy. Integration and hybrid systems are the most efficient way to go.

What is the eye? Everyone has them, but few people really know anything about how they work or how they should care for them. Our eyes are how we view the world. Keep yours healthy.
